We've all seen it in one form or another. Some have lived it, some have died from it. I endured it a lot through school. We moved around a lot, so I was a threat at the new schools. I learned how to fight because of it. It took years for me to grow out of the damage, and still some hangs on and will be with me forever... and ends up in books. What hurt me even more was when my oldest son went through it in Georgia. It got so bad and the school didn't cooperate that we finally pulled him out for the rest of the year. My daughter has tasted the evil of bullying. Most all of us have at some point or another, but it's those who are stuck living in their own personal hell that suffer the most, and are pushed to the limit.
Until we can get the school systems to actually DO SOMETHING AND PREVENT IT, we must make a stand. Bullying comes in all forms, to all ages. It's time they learned that love and compassion conquers all. Join me and so many other authors to bring awareness and put our foot down to bullying. If you see it, do something. If you know about it... DO SOMETHING.
Love one another. Help one another. Who knows, you may be saving a life!
